It's MSSA Opening Social time!

After alluding to all the neat activities we'll do this year, the 1st one has finally arrived! The Opening Social will be held:

Because we want to hold various other activities this year, on a very fixed budget (unless anyone has any extra Federal Stafford loans they want to donate), we are asking for some help to make it a success.

Last names A-L: dessert
Last names M-Z: side dish/chips

Don't worry, we'll provide the rest. There will be food, good company and door prizes! Be there or be square!

Welcome to the MCW MSSA blog!

For those of you unfamiliar with a blog or the MSSA (Medical Student Spouse [or Significant Other] Association), hopefully this can clarify what they each are! We are trying a new format this year, including a blog, for announcements. Feel free to check back here for information about upcoming events, pictures from past events, and anything fun and interesting we find that is helpful for MSSA.

Now to clarify the MSSA...pretty much it's an association with the express purpose of having activities so that the major supporters of our med students (the spouses and significant others) have a chance to meet each other and have some fun. We have a lot of great ideas for this year! We're hoping to do more activities than in the past, but we'll need your help to make it work. All we ask for is participation, feedback on the activities, and to just have fun!
