Saturday Night Fever

Saturday Night Fever is coming up next month, March 28th! It is a semi-formal, grown-ups only dance for couples and anyone else who'd like to join us. We have got a great band coming, and of course, there'll be food. Here's the info; go get your calendar!

Date: Saturday, March 28
Time: 7 pm to 10 pm
Place: Alumni Center at MCW

Tickets are $4 per person if purchased or pre-ordered before March 28th, and $5 at the door. Contact Julie Brinkerhoff using our email address, mcwmssa@gmail.com, or visit her office at MCW: M2975. We will also probably have a lunchtime ticket sale, but we haven't scheduled it yet.

We are very excited about this activity, and hope that it will be a great way for spouses and significant others to spend time as a couple, as well as meet each other and get to know a broader group of people at the the school.

Hi!

I just wanted to say hello and let you know that MSSA is still up and running, we're just planning ahead for the rest of the semester.

We hope you had a great break and are enjoying life, despite all of these crazy tests, ridiculous schedules, and other things our med students are experiencing. This is feeling like the hardest semester yet for my husband (2nd year, 2nd semester), so if you ever want to do something with me, there's a very good possibility that I'm available!! ;)

Pie Fest!

Let's get together and have some pie to celebrate Thanksgiving, cooler weather, and a few days off. (or not, if that's the case!) This is a more casual event that should be lots of fun.

When: Tuesday, November 25th, 6-8 pm
Where: Cafeteria
What: Eat pie, chat, and play games.
Bring: A pie (home-made not required!). If you want to stay for games, bring a board game or game idea.

We are thinking of having regular game nights (once a month or so). Is that something you would be interested in? Please vote in the poll to the right about which day of the week would be best for you.

Trick-or-Treat around the school, following the footsteps
Come to the Cafeteria for pictures, donuts, hanging out, games, etc.
We will have a costume contest at 4:00, with winners being announced at 4:15
Bring a can of food to donate to the Hunger Task Force
